  • For me I’m skinny. I’ve never had a problem with not eating. I’ve tried working out for 5 straight months 3x a week and I got stronger but didn’t put on much weight cause I could not force myself to eat enough.

On the other hand there are fat people who can’t stop eating. Me I’ve never had an issue with not eating. To me it’s simple to starve yourself. Your body adapts. But clearly others have a difficult time.

    So which is harder?

Both of those are different battles, equally as difficult for those two individuals. Like plants said

Never been fat so I can't relate, but it's difficult to gain weight healthily if you've been skinny all your life. You just don't have the appetite until you're a few months deep into a diet.

Losing weight is easy af, gaining muscle is legimtately difficult.

  • It depends on why you’re fat And why you’re skinny

If you’re skinny bc you literally only eat once or twice a day and even then it’s few calories... you gaining weight will prolly be easier than someone Big losing weight bc you aren’t even at your normal healthy weight anyways.

Judging by the obesity epidemic. Clearly losing weight

These threads always come off as incognito spite threads.

If you want to gain weight just space out your meals, get a certain amount of protein, and calorie bulk with fats.

Make protein pancakes with peanut butter sauce.

Money is probably the only real barrier.

Losing weight? Means moderating your entire lifestyle in order to be conducive to having a healthier life.

Most of these people end up yo yoing or relapsing.

People get gastric bypasses or have to come to near pre diabetic levels before changing their poor habits. Etc etc

Tl;dr life isnt a competition and if you want to bulk. Deadass just learn how to cook, lift, and stop doing cardio

  • Aug 2, 2021

    Neither is that easy

I’ve been on both sides this year with respect to lifting, bulking for few months and cutting for couple of months. Bulking is tough in the sense that your actively forcing yourself to constantly eat and keep up with the calories and macros needed, not to mention spending more money towards food. Cutting can be just as challenging, where you have to mentally fight yourself to not give into cravings, fight low energy throughout day, and loss of strength
