Because honestly I think at this point it’s like 60% who you are and 40% music.

If Kanye was the most boring motherfucker you’ve ever met but made the same music, would he have been anywhere near as successful?

If an local artist you know was releasing hit after hit but wasn’t active on social media and didn’t post pics of themselves ever, would that put a cap on their growth and potential?

    What y’all think?

For the most part I dont care outside of music & i dont understand people that do but you do you

I do care that music has some truth (exaggeration or imagination isnt a big deal to me) and conection with the actual artist

But i dont care what they do in their personal lives, looks nor do i have to feel like im their friends or see them, i am not checking up on them like that i got myself and my people irl to worry about

  • Some people’s personas are a part of their art.

The persona brings people in but the music keeps them invested
