some people are better writers than singers... some people are better singers than writers. So they work together to pen good music together. It's not that deep.

A good pop artist will perform a song as if it was theirs. Its all about love and passion for music.

also some people write songs with other artists in mind to sing those songs. Or artists can give a writer ideas about what they might want to have a song about.

Well that’s the thing. You don’t need a great voice to make great music. You work with what you have and make it better with practice. Same for writing. You won’t get good not doing it and you have no connection to something you didn’t write. It’s not that deep

I’m not wrong. That’s like an painter not painting their work just being the figure who showcases it. They’re not a painter. If you wanna compare them to actors then that’s exactly what they should be labeled as. Actors/entertainers not musicians

Sure there’s some “ authenticity “ feel to it but the average listener doesn’t care & neither should you

90% of artists have gotten help within their careers & I don’t think it’s a bad thing as long as the listener finds the music enjoyable & brings people together

So don't ever go to a museum because the curator didnt paint or sculpt any of the artwork

Don't ever watch movies because the actors didn't write the script

Don't ever think about watching any TV because we all know the actors in that didnt write the script

Don't read any new comic stories, anime or manga because more than likely the original artist isn't doing much of the work anymore its somebody else.

Imagine thinking that because somebody doesn't write a song but can sing very well they aren't considered a musician.
