I deleted the game because I couldn't stand this s***. My turn would be over in 5 seconds and then my opponent spends 5 minutes on their turn shuffling cards around their deck, extra deck and graveyard and somehow end up summoning a monster with 3000 ATK Trash, just give me the ordinary game I grew up with. F*** all this Synchro, XYZ, Link summons s***

i have it in my side but how do i deal with the token consistently

cant they use it against me n more than likely it'll have more atk or def than nib, right?

I like all the new card types except pendulum that s*** is annoying n hard to track, xyz is my fav tho that s*** is goat its like tribute n ritual summoning put together but way more convenient n flexible. im still rusty on link summoning, n i do fine with syncho.

but i only started playing a week ago lmao i havet played literally since Yugioh GX days when i was middle school irrc, im HS class of 2014

im doing decent now but the first few days were terrible, ive been silver once but mostly still bronze atm. i usually win one n lose one now.

would suggest downloading yugioh dawn of a new era on pc/laptop its free n runs on any power, it has AI that uses meta decks you can practice n learn from also they have an in depth deck builder. you can even download meta decks n use them n pick them apart.

then a few days ago i started playing on at Dueling Nexus & their deck builder is CRAZY as well

its diffcult af especially the first day but i been wanting to get in forquite sometime now so i pushed thru, i also chose an archetype i really like, a dino deck, which helps a lot to get going. it sucked d*** af but since i was genuinely insterested in making it better n playong that helped the building n theory process plus the growing pains.

now i have a dope beast deck that also has way more in general support

i play slow for the most part n dont go above 4 chains usually but i also play hella cards they call "floodgate", its cards that restrict your opponents amount of summoning and attacking etc. in one turn its dope n turns it a bit back into old school

there is an old classic format tho that is pre synchro, the og, its called GOAT format (literally lmao) and you can play it online at Dueling Book. It includes caards n the banlist from the og japan release from like 98/99 up to 2005 usa/jp, first few episodes of gx.

i played it for a day it was fun and a good way to spark further interest or take a break.

the yugioh creator passing away recently is what made me finally jump back in

Theyre dope. Theyre just a bit basic in terms of presentation unlike DuelLinks.

DuleingNexus is automated like DuelLinks while DuelingBook is manual like youre playing irl, like you have to know what youre doing n call plays in the chat, moving the cards with the mouse n whatever.

I prefer DuelingNexus for the automation especially since im getting used to the newer mechanics, only been playing a little over a week since literally 2007 lmao.

But i do play on DuelingBook for GOAT format (its literally called that lmao) matchmaking, its OG yugioh from 98 to 2005 cards, the start to the first set of Elemental Heroes, pre synchro.

Theyre free too n both have a healthy playerbase. Nexus kinda dies late night but Book is healthy all day long, seems the hardcore nerds play there on Book from what i gathered on yt n online n why its always super packed.

They stay up to date too. You can also download other players share decks to play with n pick apart on both sites.
