i stopped playing yugioh cuz of age in middle school but i still watched a good bit of GX whenever i came across it

I completely left Yugioh when 5Ds happened tho cuz i thot n still do think the bike s*** was so f***ing dumb

Then i got reinterested like a year or two ago n would watch a yt video about modern yugioh every once in a great while

But i never jumped back in until recently when the og creator passed away

your opponent is terrible. he mst'd an already activated spell card then destroyed ur face down ones knowing you were playing unchained. unchained and branded also have no synergy, youd be better off just playing a pure version of one or the other and adding in handtraps and s***

Nah they do work.

Unchained & Branded do as dark mons since i added Beystials n some couple reg cards now n removed some of the more niche/situational Branded cards but kept the main n consistent ones, so they do play off each other now. Unchained is also able to keep reviving, searching n rotating itself like Albaz n Beystial mons so its constant pressure. Also Abominable acts as Titanklad material to boost it to 4000 for a summon, along with Nib & now i also have Beystial Alba Los for another potential 4100 summon or summon over the other Beystial dragons.

Amorphage works too for dragon Albaz fusions if needed n fine on their own, but theyre more to shut down spells n traps or summons in pendulum zone once im set up, n the occasional summon fodder or boss Amorph summon.

Albaz can also be shut down easy af by floodgates n handtraps so Unchained is to deal with that as its a slower type in comparison plus you sacrifice the enemy to link up, plus Unchained Soul is just broken asl in general where it can auto summon after any removal on your field, an effect that csuses removal plus it can self revive one time.

Then of course XYZ Dragon n Luster Soldier are there as options n niche situations or brick draws. With XYZ Dragon's basically body snatch ability & Luster's hella options that is also easy to summon with all the self rotating.

Ive won 15 times out 18 n currently on a huge streak with my updated version of this deck, i'll post it later when im able.

In the replays, first 1 surrendered to all my chaining, 2nd quitted because they couldnt affect my black luster soldier with any effect which made his whole firld useless. If you summon the link version of luster with a 7 star+ mon (which i used Nib or Unchained as the 7+ tribute iirc) it becomes immune to all any effects, not just by destruction. Really clutch. Those two were part of my first 4 matches which were all wins n pre update, which i updated after like my 6th match or sumn like that after my first loss n then a close call.

Then side deck is mainly for Kaijus & Golem in case i come across a Red Eyes Dragoon user n s*** like that n get them back on the run backs by swapping out.

Deck is f***ing crazy.

Other archetypes besides Unchained, Albaz & Amorphage that interests me that Ive seen so far are Tenyi & Rokket Borrel

Would like to make something of those at some point, will be my next deck project(s) eventually

I play both but mainly the reg format, just started 2 weeks ago n played only Goat for the first few days to reignite that nostalhia before i dipped into the current. I still play here n there tho. Havent played since GX era until now lmao

Wish we could have more cards tho for GOAT. Like at least give us all the GX era cards, we only have the very first set n thats where GOAT cuts off smh. Classic cyber dragon would be so fire n more Hero cards outside the intial couple etc..

Would also love a format of a continuous GOAT like the main format, where you add all new cards that doesnt include the other summoning types from Synchro to now. Would be really dope & intersting while keeping it alive with ongoing support. Just dont ivolve all the other cards that are the later summoning types or mention the later summoing types in its effect box.

Would be a lil cool "what if" alt history type thing too if they continued but didn't create the additional summining types. A lotta dope ass & unique interactions would come from it

im just letting you know why a deck like that does not see any meta play or have any sort of standing on the ladder lol.

anything is gonna look good when ur opponent is playing blackwing and couldnt even figure out a way to get over a 3k monster.

like i was saying, you have no disruption or board breakers so ur entire strategy atm is just facing opponents that either also play zero disruption, brick their hand or you just happent go first. sure the branded cards will save you sometimes by just being good cards but when an opponent can actually put negates on the board ur pretty screwed

So ive been playing Master Duel the last 3 days n its dope n luckily you can actually get cards without spending money & if youre not so hoardy, im in Gold Tier 1 rn n hope i get to plat today, on Nexus im in Silver I was in Gold for a bit but havent touched it since MD.

Im so glad Red Eyes Dragoon is BANNED here thats the s*** that made me drop back to Silver in Nexus

Im playing Unchained still (my fav Archetype) but Im no longer using Albaz types atm since Bystial is banned on MD, so now I also have Yang Zing archetype as well with Unchained to fill out the deck, & since it also works with getting destroyed or self sacrificing & revolving around the grave to summon itself/others, its a great pair while one being more offensive n the other more defensive

Gonna start incorporating some Swordsoul into it once I can get them, or do a separate Zang x Sword deck.

The decks I have the hardest time against so far are Stryker n Drytron decks off the top of my head. I wanna create a Predaplant x Albaz deck, a Mayakashi x Eldrich deck, a Cipher x Galaxy Eyes deck & a Borrel x Rokket deck at some point.

This might just be a me thing but since my deck revolves around SO many special summons PLUS traps n spells for my Arches especially Unchained, this card literally nullifies my whole play, especially if they revolve majorly around fairy types. Which the two times I encountered this card, they did

B**** ASS #1 THE ULTIMATE

This card in its own isnt as bad as the others nor is its attack too high where you cant beat it down easily on top of that, but its so easy to slot into a deck & you WiLL come across it like 1 out of 3 duels on average summoned. It has instant shut down potential if youre not set up, or if its early in the game. Its not the worst thing ever, but its the most common worst thing. It is now in my extra deck too s/o Zang tuners

And the deck i def hate fighting the most against atm is Numeron decks smh. Again, it just rolls you out the gate if your first hand isnt good enough. Luckily it isnt too common rn, its 50/50 if I will win or not against that deck. Its cool looking tho the animations makes it looks like a bunch of robots flying out in MD
