i've seen the pendu light konami randomly added a s***ton of new support & seems it has potential to be pretty high tier

i got rolled by it too dude was all the new pendums plus nothing but handtraps i couldnt do anything

Pendulums are nuts bro in the right deck. I played someone a while back that used a magician pendulum deck and was spamming the field

u should def try out the new one if you havent already its mainly Magician support n cards too iirc, it was released almost a month ago iirc n it has a few synergized link mons too like the big titty f***ing witch hoe i hate her

i was gonna win n go into plat but my opponent was taking FOREVER before my finish turn n i had to s*** really bad so i dipped n i thot i took the fastest s*** ever but the game counted it as a timeout surrender n then i was tilted af n lost twice in the row being mad asl n now im in threat of droppig to gold 2 n i closed the game

Yeah to this day I only play eternal duelist on the gba that was where I left off in on the series and with the games being peak

Although not perfect, I do now agree with the camp that modern YuGiOh is overall better & more fun than old YuGiOh. Just sucks there is a lot to take in n not a really easy way to accustomed to all of it by yourself if you been gone a long time.

Personally I was only barely familar with Synchros, I dropped the card game as a kid a little bit after GX started n I dropped the anime a little bit after 5Ds stated because I thot (n still do) think motorcycle racing is f***ing stupid lmao.

But now Im back in virtually n since the last week I got a fairly full grasp on everything this s*** is fire n better

Best thing about it all is that I made all my decks myself with some online input n staples mixed with my own interests n theorycrafting

tcg is the manga translated with a few minor differences/mistranslations here n there

MD is the anime that is behind on the overall plot n it stays -mostly- true to the mangas but also does its own thing & order of events here n there

And DuelLinks is the random ass spin off show and/or filler episodes

but yeah s*** is crazy, i kinda like how its a cross between ocg n tcg as its own overall thing but it def needs to be a bit more tight instead of how looseit is rn. Especially if they plan to keep it best of 1 + no side deck forever. The banlist needs to be even more unique for MD to accommodate. S*** like Runick n Numeron are fine in reg play since its best of 3 and you have a side deck so you can load up on negate spells/traps and kaijus etc. or whaetver , but on MD since you dont have a side deck you literally cant be prepare for everything.

And since no side deck & only 1 round it makes cheese strats & annoying ass decks pop off way more in winnings and be more popular than norm. Those need to be hard banned or get limited to hell.

S*** is wild. It seems theyre aware of trying to make a best of 1 healthy for official play by banning things from the beggining like Mystic Mind n Dragoon n then with their only like once or twice later minor bans on s*** like Crystron.

But why are things like the Dragon Rulers, which were broken back in the day but are now no longer broken than current up to date s*** like Albaz or Swordsoul that are still completely untouched, why are they still banned while s*** like Numeron and now f***ing Runick run around untouched?

How is Conquistador of the Goldenland & MOTHERFUCKING Souleating Oviraptor is limited but not f***ing Mirrorjade & Orcust Dingirsu

S***s weird. I like how its kinda like its own pocket but it still needs to do more.

Hopefully in January we get a ban list for some Runick s*** n a limited list for some Albaz s*** after the holiday season when the sets are now a bit old at that point.

Honestly knew Konami didn't care after they let those burn decks run wild for months even after putting in a banlist. They don't care about even making the game balanced. I think they just care about money with Master duel. That's why they rushed out so many of the current cards but left out staple old cards. I remember for awhile they didn't even have. Pot of Greed and cards like mirror force in the game lmao couldn't even make character decks correct so a lot of content creators dropped the game.

Yugioh use to be so good s*** is super wack now.

Got my 1st hatemail a few days ago in a Gold 3 match lmao, it was an Umi player who auto lost to me using Zombie World

Uni is a contol deck that literally doesnt let you do anything unless you jave water mons, but my Zombie World turns every mon into Zombie type so he got locked out of himself instantly

He then auto surrendered then messaged me that i was so "lucky" to have open with zombie World, even tho my whole deck is built around it n at the time i ran'd a full 3 💀💀😭

Anyways i got back to plat 5 again yesterday n this morning i got to plat 4 for my 2nd season ever

Here's my current updated Zombie deck i mentioned earlier itt, called Zombie Danger. Which is obv Zombie mons plus a handful of the Danger archetype

Yeah im hoping they support old formats or at least custom ones at some point. The festivals are a nice addition but too far apart. Cant beleive they just now added tag duels lmao.

Theyre tip toeing around a lot. The economy is actually really nice especially compared to other games even Duel Links, but they seems to supplement that by making packs have a fomo effect with how you randomly get access to them and how they release new cards but wont make a dedicated pack for them till months later.
