@op just wanted to bump this with a thank you. blown away at how uneducated i was. (and still am, tbh) this video comes back around to the forefront of my mind on like a weekly basis now.

it's some mfs who act like slavery was some old world doing and that it was ended by they great great great great grampa or some s***. like okay sure maybe one document was amended way back but let's not forget the last chattel slave was freed 5 years before my father was born.

and let's not forget that there's more people being kept in slavery right now than there have ever been. feeling really misanthropic rn
