Okay after some time of replaying the f*** out of Lemon Pepper Freestyle I had to just discuss. Drake has giving us this same song countless times where he just turns into a cheat code and give us bars for 4-6min straight. Everytime it鈥檚 a classic and some of the best delivery, imo the closest thing to HOV. But there鈥檚 one person who I just can鈥檛 admit or don鈥檛 want to admit that he may have overcome far as bars/delivery and that鈥檚 his OG Lil Wayne.

Lil Wayne rapping at his peak and best is his mixtape records where he just spazzes all over the beat and gives us the unpredictable metaphors and punchlines while also doing these insane flows that he imitates from different rap places that he enjoys while also combining his own southern flow with it.

Drake at his rapping peak and his best is his introspective records where he talks that confident s*** that boss s*** that luxury s*** talking while throwing subs at everyone and just venting about the new events in his life and how he鈥檚 been mentally.

Which one do you prefer and which one do you think is overall better at this point?

We all know Drake will never have half the influence Wayne has had so don鈥檛 bring that into it. Talking strictly bar for bar and delivery, which one is the better?

    It's Wayne, period.

Tha Carter 2 version of Wayne alone is better than any version of Drake. Not to mention Tha Carter 3 sessions version of Wayne.

C'mon OP, this an easy question, son.

To clarify I鈥檓 speaking on mixtape Wayne vs introspective cocky drake. Me personally, I think mixtape weezy at his peak has him beat. I brung the discussion up with my friends IRL one time and I had it today with my boys on discord. We completely had to take all the nostalgia out of the picture and look from the outside. I鈥檝e not seen ANY rapper come close to Jay Z rapping besides C2/05-07 mixtape Wayne or Drake. So I just had to compare. I easily take wayne but I鈥檝e seen mixed opinions a lot on here and in general

    Wayne easily.

I remember in school people were rapping his mixtape verses off the dome with no music playing.

He was much more revered as a rapper despite all the corny memes online.

Well Wayne is the greatest so. Dude was literally groomed to be a rap superstar

True I remember nights before a Wayne mixtape was like Christmas Eve in middle school. Everyone erasing the original songs and playing Wayne鈥檚 version of the song like it was his originally
