Now, onto the rest. Whats up my ktt fam, what a year it's been. First things first, i'm f***in thriving. docs was all pretty surprised with my speed of recovery and i put it all down to plants. Not me, plants. But plants the food. But y'all prolly heard enough of my preaching the power of plants.

The biggest change over the last year is how much more seriously I take my life and my health. Before I would often slack off, say I'll do something tomorrow, and well, tomorrow isn't guaranteed. If something is worth doing it's probably worth doing today. But not just in terms of spontaneity, in terms of discipline and consistency and kindness.

I find myself trying to live like Bill Murray did in the last third of Groundhog Day. I'm sure y'all seen the tweets and posts where young adults be like "is this really all life is, do i really just work, eat, drink, and sleep till I die" and the answer to that should be a CHAD YES. There's a tightrope balance to walk between acknowledging the ways in which you are oppressed without honing your focus onto all those ways. Victim complex s***. And I say this as the victim of a devastating car crash, and also rape. Yeah. Rape. Horrible stuff nearly kms shortly after.

But u gotta bet on yourself, u gotta love yourself. Forgive your past self, and live in the moment with extreme gratitude for everything that you have. It's so easy to get caught up in a 'lacking' mindset, where you constantly focus on what other people have that you want, thinking that you lack so much. It's what advertisers and most social media is built upon. Billion dollar industries built upon this s***. You gotta fight against the programming and the propaganda. In all areas. F*** the hierarchies and always try and help others. I'm talking IRL because online you really can barely help anyone.

Some of y'all may know I'm an avid motorcyclist. Been riding since I was 5. First streetbike at 15. I'm 28 now and it's deep in my blood. My absolute passion.

Well on March 10th I was riding home when a car ran a red light in front of me. I have no memory of the crash due to my concussion, cranial fracture, and brain hemorrhage.

Top to bottom I broke my left temporal lobe, burst my L2 vertebrae, fractured left scaphoid (wrist), two fractures in my pelvis, two in my sacrum, a complete fracture of my tibial plateau (top of the shin bone needed surgery), fibula, and pinky toes (cuz f*** me right).

It'll be 11 weeks since the accident this Wednesday and I am absolutely crushing the recovery process which I believe is thanks to my vegan diet. The doctors have told me that they never see such rapid healing especially in terms of the bones considering the quantity of the fractures. I've been walking unassisted for about a week now after transitioning from wheelchair, to walker, to cane.

On to the truly sad part, I lost my bike...

And to top things off I got footage of the crash. The b**** who ran the red light lied to the cop in the police report and said I ran the red. He pulled footage from the camera on the light. I put in a records request and got the footage about 7 weeks after the crash.

Moral of the story is WEAR YOUR HELMET AND GEAR

Without my AGV helmet I'd be dead or a literal vegetable (shoutout plants tho). As you can see there's nothing I could do to avoid the crash, something you just get unlucky. But you can always wear protective gear.
