Alive 2007 . Its been since 2007 and people if Daft Punk toured to this day or did a farewell tour would travel without hesitation or go to a coachella or world tour without worry. They would know 100% that they were going to see some life changing s***. Daft Punk cared about the craft and creating a live experience that was unparalleled. A lot of their live shows inspired the Ye's and other major artist

I mean also live execution of live combination of songs. Its not like anyone walks away from a live daft punk show like "damn they just pressed play". To the point they dropped two live albums still seen as some of the best live albums to this day

yeah true. wasnt the alive 2007 type stuff still largely prerecorded tho? or at very heavily planned to the point of it feeling wrong to give them credit like they were live mashing up. i love the alive 2007 versions but i dont see it as spontaneous live creation or anything like that, more like amazing reinventions/mashups they probably were perfecting and conceptualizing for a long time
id love to be proven wrong but i still see it as they pressed play, but then also did some other embellishments around everything and a big part of the whole purpose was the visual element too

Also true I mean there are artist creating dope live experiences to this day . I don't think Daft Punk are the greatest to ever exist simply they are themselves
