The people who wanna do crack already doing it regardless. Everyone knows d**** are bad. If a person wants to do d**** they're going to find a way always. All d**** being illegal does it create a cat and mouse game with the police and d*** offenders, which keep prisons full of non-violent offenders. And d**** being illegal directly contributes to the violence around them and the cartels keeping power.
Thoughts?
They don’t want people getting rich off doing nothing like they do. Like imagine how much money d*** dealers would make if they could just be open with shipping and distribution
Because some rich white people would be in a tight spot if d**** were decriminalized.
Like literally every executive in the tobacco industry.
Because that s*** f***s you up bruh
I know family members that was hooked on meth, heroin, embalming fluid, etc s*** ain’t good bruh
It’s not as simple as just doing d****, like that s*** f***s you up and impacts others directly and indirectly
If something is illegal many people are too scared to try it even if it is still very accessible. Honestly can you imagine going to a club and have people around you take meth like it is no problem?
It is the same with the masks in some way. In Germany rn it is only allowed to go to a supermarket or restaurant with your mask on. Obviously you are going to have people ignoring this out of protest but the majority just does it cause it is the law.
However if the government just said "yeah maybe you should were a mask" way more people wouldnt bother to do it and you get the situation in the US.

Okay, but again, the people who want to do d**** are going to do them. The person in your family that was addicted, still found a way to those d****. Where there's demand supply will always rise to meet it. It being illegal has not curved that and only led to more violence around the d*** trade.
Punishing people that do d**** has never stopped people from taking d****. The first world countries already understand that and put people into rehab centers.
Cause people use them irresponsibly, not all the time but sometimes, so we gotta make regulations
It depends where u are, but usually on how the severity of a d*** has hit a certain region or community being linked to deaths

Nobody that wasn't going to do f***ing meth before is suddenly going to do it because its not illegal. There are more things that stop people from doing d**** than their legality.
People that cant cope with reality take d**** - legal or illegal. Only thing the government can control is if they want to help those people or lock them in a cage

yeah like f***ing up their livelihoods and leading to homelessness
People take d**** to cope usually, or recreationally
Technically, eveything is legal. it's people who dont agree with s*** that makes it "illegal"

This the truth, here in the UK ecstasy became the going out substance of choice for crazy percentages of young people in the late 80s.
Alcohol lobby was one of the main financiers of the campaign to make it illegal (and publicise the tiny number of ecstasy deaths)
a lot of them shouldn't be but you could say the same about cigs and maybe alcohol so idk
Only uninformed people think d**** should be illegal
Decriminalize the use of d**** but in no way do I want to live in a world where my kids can get heroin from a store
decriminalize possession. it's so f***ed that people with legitimate problems fall into the prison system and aren't helped with their addiction.
