Admittedly it didn’t start hitting for me until a week after CLB dropped but I haven’t been able to stop playing it since

I couldn’t believe that people were calling it a skip on release day

  • Sep 15, 2021

People sleeping bc its a subtle vibe not some grand pop chune. I was one of the goofies skipping it after like 2 listens. Took me a few days but I’m here now 🔂

Cuz we ain’t out dancing to it yet

Melody is crazy. The really mixed that ancient sound with a modern ambience in a Godly form.

I don't think it fits the album. It's not a bad track by any means, just don't love it in the context.

How do you know the way I feel?
You got me losing my mind, oh

Just sounds like an interlude. Drake barely plays a part. Could’ve been a throwaway easily and replaced with something else way better in the vault

love it, still feel should’ve been a Tems single or he should’ve added the Rema song to the album too

Just like a lot of songs on CLB Drake is outshined on the song and it feels like it shouldn't be his song he should have just been a feature on it. It's kind of bland on Drake's part and the overall song is more of a mellow vibe than a real grand hit like say One Dance or Controlla and isn't as smooth and well written and the chemistry between him and Tems isn't as great as Too Good.

That being said it definitely is a cool little vibe song but there definitely should have been something more done with it. Reminds me of Loyal with PND in this aspect.

You perfectly summarized my thoughts on CLB: “like a lot of songs on CLB…it feels like it shouldn’t be Drake’s song.”

For me it’s not even about him being “outshined” or that the features were better than he was. This album felt scatterbrained; it felt like a compilation of drake features from the respective featured artists’ albums.

The songs themselves are good! Don’t get me wrong! But as an album … as a body of work… this was a very disappointing showing from the artist who’s music I love the most 💔

Pretty much this. As a solo Song it's pretty good, but it comes at a time in the album where it's start to drag a bit
