so spending all that dumb money on the military is not expensive? spending more on the NYC police alone than most countries spend on their military

there is enough money for all that, but ppl gotta realize that this current establishment's constituency is not the average american citizen. it's not that those things are not affordable, but rather they just don't want to give them to you.

Well the NYC spends that money not us collectively as a nation. I agree that we should cut a little military spending, mostly towards corrupt programs like the PATRIOT act.

But no these things are extremely unaffordable we already spend damn near as much as we do on the military on Medicare. Add education and housing on top of that and you get a depression.

These things are only possible if we cut like 50-90% of government programs and as I’ve said in the past Bernie Sanders would not want to be responsible for that level of job loss.
