  • Who was a fan? When did yall stop watching? I used to be a die hard fan but season 7 and 8 were so horrible I couldn't believe it was the same crew making it. Just when I was coming around in season 9 Rick leaves and I just gave up. The first 3 seasons are still classic tv in my opinion but they just couldn't keep up the quality, doing way too much and got predictable. Is there anyone still watching?

  • cause they fired frank darabont

Made alot of poor choices with characters that shouldn't have been or should have been used.

The stories got unfocused after awhile

Season 7 was way to weak a season and 8 was awful but 9 and 10 are really good but 2-3 years of bad seasons is a death sentence.

The seasons were to long too

  • They never had a concrete vision is the main problem, they just sort of tackled each season on a year to year basis (like a network procedural) instead of actually sitting down and setting themselves a realistic endpoint then working toward that.

because it starts to get boring and it was slow pacing.... i like first two seasons and that is it...... later it becomes drag to pull thru

was my fav show until it wasnt anymore

Because instead of creating a coherent show, they decided to milk it for all its worth. Firing Darabont, halving the budget & tripling the episode count after season 1 made it pretty clear which direction they were going. Season 2 already was a big drop off from the first season and with viewer numbers only rising, they just decided to let the show spin its wheels.

Would love to know the origin if the outbreak. They carried on the side stories and the beef with other human tribes too long. And the whispering was getting annoying.

The last memorable moment was when they killed the Asian dude.

Wish we knew how it all started

yeah milk it - is the right word ...... remember when they end up on cliffhanger when negan killed glen and abraham? - wtf .... they should reveal it right away and not f*** around with people like that

    f*** that show !

I think it’s still pretty good

  • Aug 15, 2021

I binged it all during quarantine last year and I’d say it started feeling way too repetitive and drawn out after the terminus season.

Then Negan and the saviours joined and just made the show even more tedious, (the fact that Rick & co had so many opportunities to kill him and they never took them really bothered me )

Not to mention killing off fan favourites like Glen & Carl. Carl should’ve been the future of the show but the producers killed him off because the actor wanted a slight pay rise since he was no longer under 18

They also pissed off a lot of the comic fans by changing a lot of the crucial scenes.

It’s a shame because like others have said, the show did bounce back in the second half of S9 and S10 is a great season imo, and I’m looking forward to S11.

And I really liked Negan’s character, even though I hated his introduction seasons lol.

So basically.. bad decisions killed the show.

s*** had a major drop off in quality after the first season, then again by the time they got to the jail tbh

  • Aug 15, 2021

I think I stopped after the first 2-3 episodes of season 4

like everyone else is saying, s*** got too repetitive. It felt like there was no end game in sight, imo the show runners knew they had a big audience and just wanted to keep the show going because of that. Ruined the quality of the show

    Stopped watching at season 7

  • Aug 15, 2021

Last season I watched was when they introduced the guy with the tiger. Season 2 was goat but the seasons where they just stayed in one place the whole time get boring fast

  • Aug 15, 2021

Threw in the towel when they killed off Glen for the second time

1-5 goated. Rewatched some of S4 yday and we all took Andrew Lincoln for granted. I had the craziest nostalgia trip about watching that s*** week to week After Terminus it fell flat, the whole time we watched S6 was because the build to Negan. Negan intro episode was good however they killed Glenn twice which was disrespect and after that the scenes at the Negan compound was horse s***. After seeing that tiger die I was like yeah this sucks. Stopped watching after that then I hear, Carl died, Maggie left, Michonne left and Rick left.

No show needs to go past 6 seasons.

Niggas had the nerve to do 12 seasons and also do a spinoff
