    Drama feels more epic and otherworldly, giving it a poetic feel. I dont think it's always better though, Antonionis move to color for example was beneficial, I think cause he started in B + W and kept what he learned there. It's too easy to make compositions which grab attention with color which aren't artistically inspired, the art of framing and composition is secondary towards the color design and patterns for many modern filmmakers and most in the mainstream.
