Pussies. Everyone is a p**** who wants to live in denial and refuse to man up. MAN UP!! You want things to change then MAN UP! Passive aggressive attitudes serves no purpose other than make you look like a soft soy.

    Inspired by @flacco thread

    https://ktt2.com/start-being-direct-stop-being-so-pussy-32500077

Instead of being direct and working out our problems with people, we just ghost them to avoid any confrontation. Why is that ?

i think people are passive aggressive because increasingly sanitized systems breed behavior that tries to prevent obstruction. Like, think about 2012 twitter vs 2020 twitter. In 2012 you could literally be on twitter threatening to kill people and giving recipes for meth, now if you even so much as call someone a d*** in a QRT you can get your account locked. Restricting communication like that doesn't get rid of the underlying emotion, so people transmute it into passive-aggressiveness to convey the feeling but get around the saniziters. This is increasingly the case across not only social media but general social dynamics, and for young kids this is literally how they are being raised environmentally to interface with communications, so is not really surprising its more and more common of a behavior.

Most relationships are superficial and shallow at best...so lying, avoiding, or ghosting shows a lack of respect or a lack of a strong bond with that person.

Then you have people who want to sustain these superficial relationships because they provide something, but are afraid to be "real" because then that could possibly sever the relationship.

    super facts.

I should be far more socially adept than I am and I think it's because my parents neglected me emotionally. Raised myself with the internet from like age 11 in the mid 00s onward. Miracle I ain't an loser or something.

But I feel like gen z and earlier just stood no chance cuz of the prevalence of social media and how heavily it influences life.

I managed to live a a***og enough life for long enough that it didn't f*** me up entirely and I KNOW I sound like I'm f***in 78 years old or some s*** but NAH U JUST DON'T UNDERSTAND

"But I feel like gen z and earlier just stood no chance cuz of the prevalence of social media and how heavily it influences life."

Quarantine made it even worse. Great point.
