It is simple I believe in the unwritten rule of when someone follows u follow back out of RESPECT and basically I notice people were following me recently and it was like a few and I never got notifications and that got me thinking you know because I don't want people to think I don't have that respect for them and I definitely don't want anyone plotting my demise because I didn't follow back bcos there was no notification so

actually reason is bc i rewrote a bunch of code so u only get follow notifs from a) ppl following back or b) people that don’t spam follow / have a higher ratio
