  • Very fun but the game needs a lot of work still, what were they thinking putting parry and dodging on the same button. The spirit system or whatever it's called is kinda limiting imo. I had fun with it and i'm sure it will be a great game but it's not Nioh level to me rn

This game is hard as s***, dodging feels like it doesn’t work and the bigger enemies track where i’m going to dodge and just attack there. Deflect is impossible for me, definitely fun but i’m getting my s*** pushed in lmaooo

In, really interested to see how they go from Nioh 2 cause Nioh 2 one of the best ARPG I have ever played

Nioh 2 is so ridiculously good. The multiple ways to play is so crazy. Gameplay better than the souls multiverse but FromSoft still king at level design (although TN did get better at levels with Nioh 2, Nioh 1 level design was really basic for the most part).

Im glad they have the budget again to bring the graphics up to standard now too.

Only downside to the Nioh series is the resolution (but at least it had 60+ frames even in base consoles) but thankfully they seem to have a huge production budget this time around, havent seen them be graphically competitive since their Ninja Gaiden series.

Cant believe Bloodborne devs n the major producer dude next to Miyazaki on BB is on this tho s*** is a dream for me lmao.

If the demo situation is like the Nioh demos then yeah its usually harder, you have a underleveled & basic loadout in the demos while being thrown a later to half of the game.

Just use it as practice or getting used to the systems, theres a lot.

Main game will be a bit easier since you'll be paced from level one to whatever plus your own build & proper equipment.

But yeah these games are genuinely tough & require patience when fighting. Ive seen its similar to Nioh in difficulty n Nioh imo is harder than Souls, but has more options & playstyles to try & use.

TN games are heavily relied on timing & openings.

The combat just feels so fun to me

I personally think this game will be better than Nioh 2 which is already a fantastic game

    Haven’t played strangers of paradise

The most satisfying thing in this game is deflecting the tiger’s multiple swipe move perfectly I’ve only done it once and it felt so good

Again, if the demo situation is like how Nioh 1 n 2 handled its demos, there will be a beta demo every few months till release, typically 3 altogether. N they do make genuine improvements. N the demos are usually unique (different levels) from each other.

Wo Long is expected in the middle of 2023. So it will probably have the 3 demo set up.

But yeah youre usually underpowered in the demos, theyre meant for genuine testing but also if you are good enough to get through a level meant a quarter to halfway through the game with only basic equipment & not fully properly leveled, you get exclusive gear as a reward for the full game such as armor n even weapons. I beaten 2 out of 3 demos for Nioh 2, n 1 out of 3 for Nioh 1.
N i think it is like Nioh since theyre already offering a unique helmet armor if you do beat this first beta. So those that miss out this time nor dont finish, there will probably be a demo that is even better a few months later.

Dont be discouraged if you cant beat the demo(s), most wont beat all of them n a good amount wont beat any, but if you still enjoy what youre experiencing dont let it deter you from the main game. Main game will be easier although still difficult, while having implementations from the feedback of the betas.

I don’t think I beat any of the Nioh games but beat the full game. The beta releases clearly took that game play better and I’m sure they will here too. The dodge/parry system needs some real work though.

Strangers of Paradise is not that good. Its fine tho.

Was phoned in heavy but I understand the bag.

Dont know if it'll be better than nioh 2 which is high tier, but im sure it'll be better than Strangers.

    Wish i could play SMH.

But yeah they take the advice and feedback seriously n ACTUALLY implementthings based off of it unlike most developers lmao, the first one is usually an alpha while the next two are betas, Wo Long is still 6 to 8 months out. They updated & improved a lot on Nioh 1 n 2 from the betas n alphas as well, for the full release.

Thats dope tho & what I mean! I know this game is gonna bring a lot of new people in like an Elden Ring (not on the same level tho of course) did for Souls. Due to the up to date graphics & Bloodborne conection, plus theyre marketing the hell out of it rn which im glad.

So I dont want newcommers to be discouraged or misconstrued.
