I was just listening to this Fat Joe record I used to play back in middle school. He featured Kanye, Miguel, Jadakiss, Mos Def, DJ Khaled and Busta but the majority of them only appeared on the outro as a choir singing the hook. Kanye had a trash few bars, DJ Khaled didn’t even add his flavor to the intro and Roscoe Dash sung the hook instead of the infinitely more talented Mos and Miguel. Dude got an albums worth of features that totally went to waste

Kendrick on Forbidden Fruit and Under the Sun were such lost opportunities. Why would would you get Kendrick on your song to only have him spit a bridge?

The way TDE utilizes background vocals is maddening too. It’s such a tease when you hear Kendrick sound adlibs and not contributing a verse.

Another Kendrick waste: only having him do the chorus on a Game x Scarface collaboration. The concept was right up his alley and he wood one obliterated this beat
