If they made a spin-off with the guy playing ODB, I wouldn’t be upset.

The fictional story episodes are Not It. Especially in its final season. I was so excited for the OB4CL story and instead got a dog shot episode I couldn’t finish

Maybe just maybe….we want to see the story behind the actual albums we love and the legendary subject matter. Maybe we don’t want straight to DVD movies completely unconnected to anything that actually happened

Completely unconnected is a stretch. I feel like the execution on the ODB one was kind of questionable but the Cuban Linx one did actually kind of tell the story in a way. I don’t know that we needed literal studio footage, the whole purple tops vs silver tops representing Wu vs bad boy was pretty cool

Like realistically how interesting is the making of the albums gonna be, it was risky but I think the idea is also capturing the spirit of the albums and I think they struck the balance with the Rae one having enough parallels to real life. The odb one might’ve been a little too far out

On ep3 , I’m along for the ride hoping the best for these dudes after this show

Liquid Swords prly my favorite solo Wu album but the episode about it was pretty corny...dope visuals and certainly ambitious but just comes across corny

Ngl this season was trash. Can’t stand the RZA actor. Horrible voice and makeup. Also the episodes where they played characters was awful. Shame.
