I just moved into my first apartment last week and the leasing office telling me to get this one service provider, and from many reviewers, this ISP is HOT GABBBAGE.

I want to save me some money, ya feel. Anybody got some advice for a brotha.

  • Don’t cheap out on internet. You’re going to run through that hotspot in no time especially if you’re using both a laptop and phone. Don’t even look at a hotspot if you have something like a fire stick or apple tv

If the recommended internet isn’t good then just get the best in the city. If xfinity is available then I recommend that.

see what other isps are at ur apt and compare what speeds they offer/pricing

i fl like almost everyone complains about their isp anyway so its kinda eh to go off tbh

idk what hotspot u were looking at but the only time i ever used a hotspot long term was for cellular internet abroad and that s*** was way slower than normal ass wifi, id say to not go for a hotspot unless ur planning to use internet more outta the house than in

I wanted to do that, but they literally forcing me to get that ISP that I was in talking about.

Plus I been hearing stories about Apartment complexes doing exclusive deals with these companies for Internet, which is wack af.

you'll get 15 gbs on a hotspot, you can't live off that and can be expensive.

buy a modem and router and sign up for the only isp available. you ain't got a choice.

Can they really only force you to one ISP? That seems insane.

Running hot spot data is cheap upfront but gets expensive over the course of a month to month basis. You’ll save a s*** tone by just setting up a conventional router setup

  • Sep 19, 2020

basically every single ISP is s***. you might as well just get it

  • get a router a hotspot going to run out quickly its cheaper to get a internet provider and get a router/modem and pay the monthly fee than to have to spend money on data for the hostpot on a normal basis
