So I’ve recently become extremely interested in the art of Bonsai. It looks really fun and relaxing so I wanted to try it out. I bought a little juniper tree in a planter at my local nursery this morning. He’s 4 years old and his name is Mr. Applesauce. I pruned, wired and scullpted it, and repotted it in a bonsai pot 😌🎍🥦🎋🧘🏻♂️
Here’s day 1 pics:

same as a normal plant. bright but indirect light for all or most of the day, water when soil is no longer moist. some ventilation and fresh air every once in a while. super easy to maintain

what about temp???
what about temp???
65-80º is ideal but depending on what pant you get and where you live you can grow them entirely outside. thats how large bonsai are grown, its good for them to experience the change in temp throughout the day
found two fun bonsai growing software for virtual tree. trying to purchase the japanese one but having trouble getting a card to go thru
