Song To The Siren might be her best song
I know it’s different styles, but Accusations >>
i wish there wasn't so much going on on Vagabond. the chorus is soooo pretty. "make me look ahead for once, and follow the dotted line"
the beat hits on What's Wrong With Me but the song doesn't go anywhere for me. pretty boring compared to the few songs before it
this album doesn't really get cookin for me until Into Your Garden.
the Into Your Garden-Battlefield-Winter Baby/NJ Blues-Song To The Siren run being the best on here. and Never Let Us Fade. probably my top 5 right there.
Petrichor and You Can't Kill Me aren't as immediate for me as Modus Vivendi was, I played that album tf out when it dropped. but they both have some really cool songs and moments
will still never forget how i saw her open for the 1975 in like 2015 w my girlfriend at the time and HATED her music so bad that it became an inside joke between us for YEARS. I used to think her name was deadass “07 oh S***”
now she’s probably in my top 10 new artists of the past decade

how do you go from mocking her to loving her?

2015 is a long time and a lot of music ago. you can totally not f*** with an artist's music when you're introduced to them, then recognize their growth over time and start to connect with it. doesn't seem too outlandish to me. props for not resisting a change of mind

same era, my ex was a big fan of 1975 and I noticed shake was opening. I told her "im going with you idc". She said "who tf is this opener".
Fast forward to when push dropped Daytona and she was all "shake is on tv?? I wanna watch"
Shake teasing the good music champions remix for like 10 seconds before telling her dj to cut it
Some of these lyrics are too cheesy for me. Great prod tho

still a thing for me as well but nothing that tanks my listening experience
You Can’t Kill Me is still the standard for me, don’t consider this any real drop off though has some great moments
