Will forever hurt his rapper image as it's tough to take him seriously now but it makes sense. He realized that while he wanted to keep it rap and have a battle of bars and pen game, his opponent wanted to take it somewhere else and hurt his loved ones. I can't be mad at Cole for wanting to protect his family

Nothing Kendrick did at that point indicated he wanted to “take it somewhere else” with Cole

This was such an amazing and vindicating day as a Cole hater who was constantly obligated to respect his position within Rap especially in comparison to Kendrick

i can tell when he put out that 7 minute drill…it hurt his own feelings…

You do realize that rappers know when there has been put money on the streets for info, right

Kendrick did him a favor by not going too hard on him after he apologized.

He's a real one for that.
