How do yall feel about this masterclass by Kendrick a year later?
"God, ah, my confession is yours
But, who am I if I don't go to war?
There's opportunity when livin' with loss
I discover myself when I fall short"

kendricks only L in the beef was not releasing this on dsps
was my favorite beat out of anything dropped
Before you figure that you're not alone, ask: "What Mike would do?"
This and Meet The Grahams were pretty f***ing mid. Euphoria and NLU is what saved the battle for Kendrick.

Nah a bigger L is Watch The Party Die not being on streaming, s*** is so fire
But the industry's cooked as I pick the carcass aparttttt
Yea somebody lying, I can see the vibes on Ak

His best song lyrically of 2024
So many people dont understand the point he was making lol
I prefer this more than euphoria, but it's not as much of a diss as euphoria tho.
"Conspiracies about Cash, dog? That's not even the leak
Find the jewels like Kash Doll, I just need you to think"
Along with the teasing of the MTG cover. Very well executed
The implications that this track impressed on me had me feeling weary & inquisitive bout the future & s*** did in fact get spooky in the hours to come lmao. Stakes was high lol

Me when I lie
I really think was the best of the bunch from Kendrick throughout the beef. Like That was a light jab but it got the ball rolling, Euphoria was a nothing burger, Meet the Grahams hype disappeared after 10 minutes and NLU was the definition of clout chasing. There's something about this track that felt real. He was going in the right direction here, most memorable bars, best production, his cadence and tone and everything was great. It says something about the beef that the community let this s*** fly under the radar. Everyone was looking for the best lies and most botted numbers when rap beef always been about barring out. He delivered on this one but it didn't get an official release smh
