WTT and Finally Famous were the most important albums of summer 11 for me. They give me so much good nostalgia. Last times of my life I genuinely felt human and mental health hadn’t destroyed me yet. These memories actually are what keep me sane.
this is so spot on
Holy s***
I still remember heading to Best Buy to cop the Deluxe CD
Time f***ing flies man, what a classic
my prized possession
Man I got some candles lit, smokin, vinyl spinnin. Life’s been real hard lately but nothin really beats this moment
Edit: slippers on too
Let’s talk about how insane of a single Otis is
Unreal, still goes hard as ever
Human beings in a mob
What's a mob to a king?
What's a king to a God?
What's a God to a non-believer
Who don't believe in anything?
Will he make it out alive?
Alright, alright
No church in the wild

10 years ago I sat in this room and finished production and mixing Watch the Throne. With @noahgoldsteinmusic @therealmikedean @jayzz_official @kanyewest I got to New York in February. I think we wrap the album about the 4th of July 2011. The photos of the two doors are the rooms where we worked. I remember every time I walked towards those doors each afternoon. the power and the intensity of the project. Spring / summer in Manhattan late nights after the clubs closed. Star studded guess nightly listening as we finish the project. I think I’m ready for part two. Are you?
