(Wolf documentary is missing, but oh well)
This album is my personal fav Tyler album of mine. During my transition back to Houston in 2019. A bit before Igor came out, I was blasting IFHY heavy because I was dealing with depression from a hard breakup at the time. This album really help through those dark times along with Igor. I started to get myself together.
I wished I had became a fan of Tyler around this era, because I feel nostalgic about this era even tho I wasn't a fan. The overall atmosphere of this album and era just brings back to 2013 when it was Cartoon Network, being a middle schooler d***ing around, and Odd Future was at the peak of their popularity.
An amazing album and amazing era.
Tell your favs and your memories?
Yeah my favorite also
Discovered tyler by the time goblin was around, I'm French so it was quite niche
When wolf came out, it was a blast, listened to it every WEEK on that warm summer
Had my first job, was outside with friends, had S***for the first time with this psycho b****
Answer, IFHY, Slater, Campfire, Bimmer, Threehome
Perfect album for the in-between summer and Fall
Now I'm 26 with a kid still blasting my cd in the whip with a smile on my face.
Been a tyler fan since.
Not Tyler’s best album, but definitely my favorite.
Shout out to Moonrise Kingdom for changing Tyler’s trajectory forever
I'm so elderly man, this album aged like wine though, honestly preferred Goblin at the time but years on this is some of his best work
Bro highkey.. the weather was perfect when this dropped. Like the air quality was great idk lmao s*** don’t hit like that no more. I had this s*** on repeat up until Yeezus dropped and it’s one of his most fun records ever. Hearing Treehome for the first time made me know that Tyler would one day be appreciated by the masses for being an incredible producer and songwriter. Album is still fresh man
Reading OP made me feel old as hell. In middle school in 2013? Sheeshh
But yea this album was on repeat in 2013 and it was the soundtrack to my summer.
But there are a handful of tracks that really hold it back from being one of his best imo
Great memories with this album though
amazing album
soo influential to me growing up
this and CB were when tyler really came into his own
48, cowboy, answer , rusty, bimmer are my favs
there was a point where i was 13 and would literally go skating and listen to this album in full everyday for like, weeks
Idk if I like this or b****** more but I was so proud of this man when this s*** dropped. Really a level up from goblin and the most unique production of his career. Classic
Easily still his best album aside from a few songs.
