Lewis, 28, appearing virtually at the hearing from the McLennan County Jail, pleaded guilty to two enhanced counts of assault family violence, aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, robbery, unauthorized use of a vehicle, endangering children, criminal mischief of more than $2,500 and theft from a person in offenses ranging from 2020 to 2023.
West sentenced Lewis to 15 years in prison on multiple counts and 24 months in prison on the state jail felony offenses, ordering the sentences to be served concurrently. Lewis, who was sentenced to seven years in prison in 2013 for an engaging in organized criminal activity conviction, must serve at least 7 ½ years in prison before he is eligible for parole.

Lewis signed a recording contract with Gucci Mane’s 1017 Records in July 2021 and he has 145,000 Instagram followers and 4 million Spotify streams. He also has a number of albums and videos, many of them shot in Waco, on YouTube.

Prosecutor Christi Hunting Horse said justice was served through Lewis’ plea deals, adding “another violent offender was sent to prison.”

“In addition to being a known gang member, Mr. Lewis has repeatedly demonstrated his complete disregard for the law,” Hunting Horse said. “Such actions have consequences. Those consequences were realized today with the sentences imposed. The state will continue in its commitment to stand up for abused women and victims of crime.”
