The beats on TLOP are skeletal and simple af
I remember a producer who worked with Ye saying how Ye's vision for all his songs is only having 4 or 5 sounds max at each point in time and making the most of each of them

That's fax, most important thing is not how many sounds you hear but what the sounds do to you ๐ณ

im totally down with this, i guess im just saying i want the albums to sound more cohesive then idk i love jik it just doesn't feel as full as his last albums to me
ye and TLOP unfinishedness sorta fit with the themes, JIK just feels messy to me. Great songs front to back but has more of a playlist vibe than an album

get the f*** outta here. TLOP beats are more layered than anything a rapper put out in the last 5 years

thematically JIK and ye are two of his most cohesive albums cause they're laser focused, sonically to me at least they're very cohesive too without sounding like they were all made in the same 1 session

I agree with you on ye for sure, but JIK to me sounds super rushed and unfinished. Maybe it's because i was listening to all the Yandhi leaks and listening party rips beforehand
This is simply not true man, like Yesac said there's never more than like 5 things happening at the same timd
I don't think any ye song has more than 5 things happening at the same time
