The Motion will always be one of my fav cuz that’s Drake style personified into one track: the perfect blend between melody and rap

Drake just letting something like that go as a loosie shows the trajectory he was on before Meek beef turned him heel and why people expected him to be able to make a certain type of flawless album

This album will always be my favorite hip hop oriented album from Drake.

I get the arguments for IYRTITL, Her Loss, and Iceman but Drake's combination of strong music making and penmanship was at its peak here imho.

It was the balance of classic songs and rapping that really shined. It's like how Eminem's technically a better emcee on Kamikaze than MMLP but MMLP is still the better hip hop album.
