I sincerely think, America needs to think about limiting the amount of cops that have firearms.
The thing about saying "a taser" is that this is a split decision with someone who has a knife and is in the middle of using it
The issue is probably just giving every single Cop a gun in the first place.
Tbh, there are too many situations where a cop is expected to whip out a gun when a taser would prob be preferred.
Then you have people arguing about the effectiveness of both and clearly a gun is much more effective than a taser.
My solution would be to deadass just stop giving every single Cop a gun. It would force them to have to use less than lethal force in most altercations
I understand your perspective.
But they clearly lack training.
This whole situation is unfortunate and people seem to react faster than to read up on context. Its very evident if you scrolls thru the initial pages. The reaction is understandable tbf
it's a split second decision the b****es are already running out of the house and the girl is actively trying to stab someone. This is not absolutely justified, but she actively attempting someone's life.
don't quote me then w/ all that projection s***
this s*** was irresponsibly handled, period. who cares if the situation turned out well? this coulda easily went south w both shorties getting hit.
y'all amaze me man lmao. this thread and that one w/ yall fantasizing about torturing children, can't make this s*** up!
Is there anyone actually saying it wasn’t irresponsibly handled? She could have been holding a actual pistol and waving it around and him shooting her on sight still would have been irresponsible, we know this. I just don’t see how adding context to a f***ed up situation is making you so angry, especially if your goal is to be more enlightened
Unless??!?! That’s never been your goal??!
this the only social media i use bozo
she did not need to get smoked
Yes, she did. You honestly think a cop is going to be on scene and let someone kill/harm another with a knife? They have a responsibility to preserve life and that's what happened. It is a very unfortunate outcome.
Where were the parents? Why is a 15 yr old out fighting an adult anyways?
this situation messy af, why was there a grown ass man tryna fifa kick that girl in the head?
im saying, he should of been breaking up the fight

People on Twitter are saying her dad is the one stomping the other girl when she’s down
this situation is weird
she called the cops but she tried to stab someone?
what was the buildup

girl was tryna stab people with a kitchen knife, but it’s tragic police decided to go 100 on it immediately
I AM NOT CONDONING POLICE BRUTALITY WITH THIS POST JUST SHOWING BODY CAM FOOTAGE
She would have killed this girl.

People on Twitter....right. Where are the facts?

No I agree that cops in America seem to lack training.
But I deadass feel like cop's need to be incentivized to use less then lethal force.
Because this is deadass the 2nd prolific situation where a cop is shown shooting a minor in a split 2nd decisiont hat they think could be life or death.
And tbh, I'm tired of it. I understand why they felt the need to shoot but this can't keep happening.
I don't know what the public wants as a whole, but I think most people would lean on the side of preserving people's lives as opposed to just killing them in the streets.

maybe she called them when the other family came in and started discussing, but I don't think it was like that
You can't make this s*** up man
Very unfortunate, but cops have the right to save the lives of others. The 15 yr old would've killed that other female and cops aren't letting that happen.
im saying, he should of been breaking up the fight
how bro ? you got 2 fights happening, a pregnant girl getting kicked to s***s and a girl bout to die from stabbing.
This whole situation is very unfortunate.
the body cam shows an entirely different story
The two girls harassing her where already outside and the teen chased them with the knife in her trying to stab them the girl in pink was just standing next to a car and the teen then lunged at her, she wasn’t fending off physical assault she was that one doing it
That yahoo article is a bunch of bullshit

The girl in pink was chilling there holding a little dog. Definitely look like she had been fighting anyone at all.
And I feel bad for the girl shot. She was def about to get jumped. Niggas don't just mob task force at your home for no reason

i posted cause bro asked where her parents were at
Tragic, but based on the body camera footage, I can't say the officer was entirely in the wrong.
