HOW BOUT YOU SHUT THE F*** UP MOM

  • In my Top 100 Mixtapes Of All Time

Short (less than 30 minutes), but every minute is not wasted. I still listen to it to this day. The topics are crazy for what it was, but that nigga was rapping his ass off.

  • It seems kinda brash but it’s the hash, I mean the harsh truth

  • Go harder than a f***in crack intervention

  • All I ever wanted was for bro to want to rap. Lot of niggas can’t touch his pen

  • Wasted dam near all my teens waiting for bro to drop

I always thought this was Tyler too lol

What happened to the early producers he used to work with like BeatBoy and Weird Eye? Do they still make music?

Yeah this wasnt the best anything from Earl

Only reason I could think is it was the only album he didnt have the monotone voice but its only bc he was still going through puberty when he made it he couldnt be monotone even if he tried

Nah I disagree. Earl is able to rap in a non monotone voice, as seen on Doris and some of IDLS, he just chooses not to

I didn’t say he couldn’t rap in a non monotone voice lol

I said some people don’t like when he does

  • my name is earl @garetare

  • Man what an era, def some of his best work out of his entire discography but ‘I don’t like s*** I don’t go outside’ just too damn good

This being someone’s favorite earl album is pretty insane to me. Definitely his worst work ever, but still pretty solid for a 15 year old I suppose

If you ranked his discog its easily better than SICK

you might have a point when the highlights of the album ended up being the mavi and hommy feats

cringe subject matter aside i feel like alot of the old OF stuff is overhated

Super! Some of that stuff is super good idc

I love their old synth choices lol

  • his pen was insane but his voice and flows in this era were super cringe

While FoC and Sick are pretty mid, I find the lyrics and production on s/t way too juvenile to rate above them above even his worst post-Doris work. Just can’t do it

Crazy to think of the new wave to come through with all the different styles and artists looking to blow up.

When was the last time that happened?
    Odd future
    Frank ocean
    J Cole
    Kendrick
    Drake
    Joey badass
    Mac miller
    ASAP rocky
Chance the rapper (a bit later)
    Big Sean

So many different artists and styles that everyone had a lane to go into and that’s not even including the artists who were current at the time.

We have none of that now, depressing to think about.

never ask a man his salary never ask a woman her age never ask an earl fan about epar

  • In terms of pure rapping ability, Earl is arguably the best rapper to come out of the 2010s

Life was so simpler back in these days, used to look like everyone was having fun making music, different from this artificial monotone all of the same bullshit we have nowadays
