Disagree but to each it’s own
MMLP2 second to last?? You got to revisit that one, only song I don’t like on there is Stronger than I was and Headlights
Take those out and he’s rapping really good

Some of the production was a little ehhhhh but I really liked his delivery during the MMLP2 era. On MTBMB the production is superior but his monotone rapping just really isn’t for me.

Yeah MTBMB had so much potential with the production. He has some real good songs on there and a lot of filler for me
I get peoples aversion to it topic wise but this era of Em couldn’t write a verse without hint of cadence and flow genius in it
The accent stuff allowed him to get super elastic and technical WITHOUT it being a fast rap YouTube rapper tier mess like it is as of late
Stay Wide Awake and Underground are undefeated
Those two are some of my all time favorite Eminem songs. He snapped on those muthafuckas.
Reminder that on top of We Made You being a bad song in general, all of the references were years out of date already when it came out. Was like watching one of your favorite boxers come out in double knee braces. Knew he was cooked

That rap city freestyle was hella lit lol the 50 adlibs
To this day, this feels like the last true Eminem album. Recovery onward felt like a whole new artist with hints and shades of Eminem here and there.
The best produced Eminem album by far and it’s not close either. A lot of Ems production hasn’t aged as well over the years, but Relapse beats are still banging to this day. Dr. Dre and his team killed it on that front.
I also think the accents for the most part don’t get in the way of the songs enjoyment. It was an interesting experiment and although a lot of people didn’t like the particular style he adapted for this album, it showed a creative side of him you don’t really get anymore from him. The way he bends the words to make rhymes is really a cool thing.
Overall, probably would put this just under his classic 3, but I love Relapse man. That s*** is fire.
nah mmlp has the better beats but relapse definitely bangs

I disagree honestly
It’s scary that this was 15 years ago. Time flies
When you’re having fun type s***
great great album
some extremely satisfying flows on here that still get stuck in my head
I remember my friend telling me to go listen to Old Times Sake off this and I was hooked immediately

Also I remember helping my grandma move into her new house and finding an ipod upstairs with Hello on it in the podcast app

just recently found out Trisha Paytas was in that video
Stay Wide Awake and Underground are undefeated
Stay Wide Awake has one of the best flows ever, Same Song and Dance too
