you can't have mass inequality in a country and be surprised when robberies happen, they're inevitable. once more this doesn't mean that im cheering on gangs to go rob people
i have empathy towards someone whos so downtrodden, poor, depressed, whos had no one there to guide them in life, that they get involved with the wrong people and get coerced into robbing someone. their life is fucked in a way thats probably irredeemable. THIS is the real tragedy, not a rich person losing their luxury item. they're not even f***ing comparable situations

Fundamentally not how it works. Value will always have to be exchanged. The thing is that under capitalism a large chunk of value goes to someone who never participated in anything that had to do with making the cheeseburger, simply on the basis of ownership
