There were some cool moves in it yea
I prefer Mr. Stone Cold Steve Austin's Stone Cold Stunner, but I'm sure the 1917 move is equally epic if it had your co-sign.
Bruh I be trying to tell niggas. Movie is phenomenal. F***ed myself over not seeing it in theatres
Underrated imo, because everybody says it’s overrated. I love it personally. For me it’s up there with the great films in the war genre
Still no war film will probably ever top Come And See for me. Had a rewatch nog too long ago and it’s still a falcon punch in the stomach and feels
I know people say the “one shot” element is gimmicky but still an impressive feat imo to do it for an entire movie let alone in the setting of a battlefield. I know there were cuts but still, masking the cuts to make it look continuous isn’t easy
Good movie tbh
This and All Quiet really nail what makes a good recent war movie to me, just that unrelenting danger at every turn

I'm gonna watch that real soon hopefully. It's crazy that the director never made another film after that one, but after hearing that they were using real artillery on set I was like

Best child actor performance of all time too, and I usually get annoyed with child actors in movies
It’s a perfect cinematic nightmare
I liked it more on the first watch than I did on rewatches. Think I have it at 4.5/5. Damn good film.
