Aye fam, good stuff for your 1st attempt! Video shooting and editing is definitely a learning process but you seem to have the basics down here.

So advice I would give. Try to f*** with color correction, Adobe has some pretty good options with that under effects. F*** with the brightness, contrast, saturation, etc. I would also recommend using more effects on the videos (sites like photo mosh or apps like gliche have some cool options for free). Wouldn’t go overboard on effects but something to add a little flavor lol. Lastly I would suggest for the camera work trying to add a little more variety. Most of the shots here are still shots with cool background. I’d say get some shots to splice in with the camera moving, different zooms and focal points (hands, shoes, necklace, etc).

I just dropped a video too btw if you wanna check it out

This is a decent start, as he said you have the basics down.

I think there needs to be more thematic relevance. Like what is the point of including the protest imagery? There should be a reason for everything being there besides it being topical atm, especially for something that serious. Just having still shots of the guy rapping for 90% and then throwing in that footage feels random and tone deaf.

Keep at it tho and keep making content

Don't think the type of video works with the lyrics lmao. Not bad (the song) but I can literally predict each rhyme before you even spit it, and your flow is very circa-2017. Try and find your own voice, a voice that people can say "Hey, isn't that Scary Potter?" when they hear it randomly on the street.
