I found this album earlier this year. Was already in love with his piano playing but this album was different from the rest of his discog (Although I highly recommend Other Voices (1957) it’s another favorite by him that has big string sections)

Lizzy Mercier Descloux - Mambo Nassau (1981)

This album I just discovered recently. It’s hard to describe, it’s not Mambo lol. There’s def some different flavors on here like tropical s*** and a few songs that sound like pink panther music. I’m intrigued by her unique vocal delivery as well. The last song I posted sounds really ahead of its time imo.
