Well idk about all that 2 chainz is way harder than da baby. Da baby just has a nice bounce while 2 chainz has some bars that really stand out

gleepglorpI wouldn’t put him in my top 10 this decade just cuz i don’t return to his albums too much but he’s definitely one of the most influential artists of the decade
TRU Realigion and Codeine Cowboy were beyond huge, dude definitely brought lean into the 2010s and made it a “thing” in the mainstream beyond maybe Sippin on Some Sizzurp

Nah not all the credit, but I do think he was one of the most popular rappers recently to make it the topic of several hot songs/tapes.
Like obviously he didn’t invent it, but I do think there’s a diff between when it was known fairly collectively as “purple drank” and where we’re at now with people rapping about how they hit pints with Karo and “I don’t sip green” or “I can’t crack a seal if its not a glass pint”. And I think 2chainz played a large part in that
