I’m not the biggest Kendrick fan but when he is rapping rapping, he really is the best to ever do it.
OG Black Boy Fly might leak too and that was recorded a month after S80 came out
FYI both of these tracks were from early TPAB session, February 2013
TPAB sessions didn’t start until after March 2014 South Africa trip, straight from Ali’s mouth

Would kind of make sense because these don’t sound like they’re TPAB at all. Another example of leakers capping to make their leaks seem more important than they are

I think they probably just meant they're from after GKMC
Source?
I gotta find the interview but Ali and Sounwave said after the trip to South Africa is when the sessions began cause Kendrick hit them up while out there and was like “I think I’m ready”
Can't tell if leak is real or fake anymore after AI
Kendrick always kind of sounded like AI anyway, especially from DAMN on
All the weird vocal glitches on element are crazy. At the time I thought it was a new mixing thing that fixed vocal timing in the mix but left some weird artifacts. now I think Kendrick was replaced with AI starting with DAMN

This ain't Drake or Weeknd or Trav lol

It’s important to distinguish because Kendrick was in a different headspace making music in 2013 post-GKMC until taking that trip in 2014.
“I felt like I belonged in Africa. I saw all the things that I wasn’t taught. Probably one of the hardest things to do is put together a concept on how beautiful a place can be, and tell a person this while they’re still in the ghettos of Compton. I wanted to put that experience in the music.“
