If you were on the OG KTT you might remember me testifying about Victory Lap being the Rap AOTY all 2018 so don't think I'm just saying this because of the tragedy. Man created an incredible body of work and leveled up success wise on his own terms.

He was Grammy nominated and mentioned in 2018 rap AOTY convos on social media all while still being alive. Throw in a potential collab project with Meek, his popularity was trending upwards regardless of tragedy speeding things up.
Like Crenshaw and Mailbox Money were cool but this album blew me away when I heard it, you could tell a lot of time and work was put into it.
I really was excited to see what he would do next.
so weird how people try to attribute his death to his success. he was huge beforehand.
I don't know where y'all from, but Nip is huge in my city. Everyone bumps and loves Nip here. It's been this way for a long time. I remember first hearing him around 07-08. So it's ridiculous seein some of y'all say that he is only respected due to his passing.

You should probably know things before you speak. Nip was a well respected and listened to artist before he passed. This album was getting heavily praised as well

I’m from the South and it’s still this. Mostly Rollins for obvious reasons but he definitely was listened to a lot around here as well
