3 was better but this is still my favorite Halo. Playing Xbox Live and seeing it grow as a teenager was one of the best gaming experiences I’ve ever had. Can’t tell you how many friends I made through playing this. GOAT game fr

I don’t think it hyperbole to say that this game was probably the biggest catalyst for online gaming to take off for consoles. Without this game I’m not sure what the current landscape would look like

Crazy thing about this game is that we never got the original Story because it went through development hell.
