Not that it mattered cause the role players need to show up regardless.
If you want I can show you actual stats about how Middleton is closing for the Bucks this year over Giannis but in this hypothetical it doesn’t matter.
Against the Nets you want the ball in Giannis’ hands at the end and for him to dunk. That is the highest efficiency shot. If he has to go to the line then that’s okay but I can’t see Nets as of yet being able to force him to pass out
Yeah I’ve seen the same thing where Middleton has been closing, but when is the last time you seen someone last shot is a dunk, it’s always a jumper, especially in the playoffs or a tough layup because with how hard that shot is going to be and the refs not being more lenient with fouls. Giannis hasn’t proven he will make that shot or free throw come playoff time I also don’t believe he’ll create one for someone else on that time when we all know he isn’t going to shoot it. Middleton and jrue or more trustworthy for it.
