The structure of the play in tournament this year is pretty bullshit. The bubble’s structure of putting team’s within a handful of games of eachother into a play in scenario made sense. It also makes sense for situations like Memphis and San Antonio who both have the same record right now, but there’s no reason why the Mavs who are 6 games above .500 should have to play the Warriors who are 4 games under to secure their playoff spot. Or the Knicks who are .500 vs the Bulls who are 8 games under. It’s gimmicky and bullshit.
