Disappointed. Anytime I ask this you usually come thru
but i feel like u never listen

If someone asks me that they got $20k am I right to recommend dca into Eth ?
If someone asks me that they got $20k am I right to recommend dca into Eth ?
Sure but i'd always tell them to keep cash on the sidelines and explain we could easily drop a lot
No way to know when it comes either so I would never just buy $20k at once right now if that's all I have. Even 50% of that is kind of sketch. Just start slow, greed and fear will kill people because bad choices can extend the FOMO feeling both on the way up as we overshoot as well as the inevitable drawdown
But if they're a newbie it's so hard not to get taken advantage right now
we're at a crossroads where you're lucky you even got an education in ETH
imagine having to jump in now ? idk way more upside in other projects now but you have to learn ETH to even get started in a good way so people are stuck in a pickle
Getting some form of skin in the game yesterday was always the goal. too bad noone ever listens
Nah bro I got money now
if you're serious you should be getting into Binance Smart Chain and low-cost "Eth killers" that are launching projects on other chains
But that actually involves effort and not just buying a random 3-4 combination of letters and hoping the price goes up
People have a genuine misconception of what I do but I digress

time to get to work !

Yeah I feel I should reiterate to him to be careful lol
Like I don’t know if it’s truly disposable income, I told him only put in what you’re willing to lose
But i feel like people see the numbers go up and don’t realise you can lose it
Usually when people ask me they never end up investing tbh so maybe I’m overthinking it

Genuinely worry about people like this as they usually have no sense of risk or what it actually entails
I would explain to him that these protocols are basically their own little internets, and that any investment he makes he should learn the actual ecosystem and the projects and explain that's how you made most of your gains
Explaining DeFi before ETH is a good way for them to know what they're buying. For example tying it to low interests you get on your bank deposits compared to 10%+ stablecoin APYs
UNI / MIR is also great as an example for normies because they get to learn that just by participating in the network they can be rewarded with real $$
I'm glad I don't have anyone IRL I have to deal with. I'm sure I have some missed calls and texts but I changed my number

Danske Bank, Denmark’s biggest lender, said it was following others in the industry and more than halving its threshold for imposing a rate of minus 0.6%. As a result, retail depositors with more than 100,000 kroner ($16,000) will pay 0.6% to park savings exceeding that amount with the bank.
