Smaller scale start ups risky in this climate in particular no?

I’ve applied to a few on angel co anyway
Feel like there’s less opportunities available here compared to America though especially for start ups

Questions come up on the screen and you have an amount of time to think of an answer and record yourself answering it

it's just about finding a good spot. if they raised their series B you should be very comfortable to know that their investors think they could become a billion $ company and they have product/market fit. the hard part becomes scaling the company effectively

you're right though the Bay is obviously a different world, but london / cambridge should have some decent s*** now

smaller than series B (angel raise/A round) and you'll run into the same problem as big companies where smaller startups need people with experience not entry level

you want to find companies where they are growing so fast they need warm bodies, and will hire dumb college graduates because they're cheap and expendable and can mold you to fit the role they need to fill

back in my day this industry was mainly Ad Tech (advertising tech) nowadays i'd prob guess "cloud" or "saas" or whatever else are big buzz words

i really don't keep up with any of this because i escaped it for a reason

working these jobs nearly ruined me
