You can just tell Synopsis is the person who gets basketball a***ysis the most. Not just the a***ysis which is merely a tool, but the other important aspects like economics, incentives, thermodynamics. He studied so much he has reached a level of comprehension of these topics where it's pure intuition to him.
He is the Michael Jordan of basketball a***ysis. People can read tons of books on basketball and physics, and still not be able to shoot a three pointer. Other people gain such an intuitive understanding of the matter, that it becomes second nature to them without even thinking. In a fraction of a second Michael Jordan's brain is coordinating hundreds of muscles and doing complex physics calculations about the ball rotation, friction, gravity, momentum.. but if you asked him to explain the physics behind it he would just be annoyed at you for not "getting it" and refuse to interact with someone who has such a laughable superficial and theoretical understanding of basketball.
Similary, Synop is not the best at communicating his complex thoughts to the outside world, he's not the best in interpersonal relationships, but he doesn't need that. He has reached a level of intuitive understanding of the basketball that is unrivaled by anyone else in sports. When he says something wrong, it may be wrong if you look one step ahead, but in his mind he's already looking at the implications 20 steps ahead.
That's why I have my homepage on Brave set to his blog, with a notification alerting me whenever a new article is published.
Synop is playing chess on a 10D chessboard, while everyone else in basketball is playing checkers.

For me, it's the McChicken. The best fast food sandwich. I even ask for extra McChicken sauce packets and the staff is so friendly and more than willing to oblige.
One time I asked for McChicken sauce packets and they gave me three. I said, "Wow, three for free!" and the nice friendly McDonald's worker laughed and said, "I'm going to call you 3-for-free!".
Now the staff greets me with "hey it's 3-for-free!" and ALWAYS give me three packets. It's such a fun and cool atmosphere at my local McDonald's restaurant, I go there at least 3 times a week for lunch and a large iced coffee with milk instead of cream, 1-2 times for breakfast on the weekend, and maybe once for dinner when I'm in a rush but want a great meal that is affordable, fast, and can match my daily nutritional needs.
I even dip my fries in McChicken sauce, it's delicious! What a great restaurant.
