    i spilled an entire glass of whiskey on the keyboard a couple years ago when i was playing music off it at a party

    all but like 3 buttons stopped working for like a month and then it miraculously just restored itself to full functionality

    and now its bouncing back from a fried hard drive apple got some voodoo magic s*** they're not telling us about

    Fr their build quality is impeccable.

    They like get slow but keep chugging along

    this is always why i was bullish on tesla

    they convinced those nerds that elon wasn't just selling rich people overpriced cars

    i saw first hand how these people bought in

    they worked so hard for him without knowing if it would ever work

    and why i find derivative tesla clones like NIO so funny because they'll never truly have innovation and can only buy it

    the intellectual capital that went into it and keeps it going

    also the main reason i'm so bullish on ETH and crypto in general. the smartest people are in this field now working tirelessly without a guaranteed payoff

    galvanizing employees around a mission honestly more important than having a clear directive / being a business side guru, especially with a labor market as fierce as tech

    listening to elon in interviews his passion comes through even in small doses, u can tell he's motivated by more than just the financials. like he's taking leadership lessons from generals more than business figures lol, it can seem corny but clearly he tells that story convincingly

    in the meantime all the widgets / sensors have prob become even more commoditized

    ur tesla friend be able to do like product design s*** ?

    yeah the sensors keep going down in price

    it's amazing to watch deflation

    if you mean like making it look "cool" then no, but he did grow through the ranks and by the end was in charge of the fremont factory and the entire supply chain logistics for the company and his excel/tableau reports were getting read by VPs/C-level

    i'm a novice on this build stuff i'd love to snag someone with a high level of AG knowledge, that will definitely be a priority

    A scientific/engineering approach is the way to go

    I'm humble enough to know I'll just be delegating and I'm not smart/expert in most of this stuff

    I just see a real market opportunity because people like Dan buy $60 eighths at dispensaries when they could easily grow a pound of weed at home

    nah fr i think ppl like you with cross disciplinary knowledge are undervalued.. like i remember listening to a ycombinator talk and they were maligning non-technical founders as just the ones that got coffee for the experts lol

    but it takes that first-principles thinking and someone that can quickly understand the core elements of new problems to move in an environment where things are always changing imo

    i think thiel's a little bit of that mind too and he's a good example of it

    i agree. having experienced both types of CEOs i gravitated towards people that don't look at everything as a black and white problem and can use history, sociology, technology etc to frame a problem

    ycombinator has sucked for years and they started smelling their own farts (whole reason it was created was to avoid this)

    Armchair critics like the commies on KTT who discount Elon's intelligence always crack me the f*** up

    i thought the pro has it too but it's the same performance and you essentially pay an extra $300-400 for a slightly better screen, fans to increase higher performance under stress, and that horrible touch bar thing
