The thing that worked for me was knowing maybe the time wasn’t right.

Clearly I got along with her enough for it to work but just not now.

Just knowing that in the future when circumstances change it could work made it easier to let go for the now.

It didn’t end up working out but it got me through.

I know I shouldn’t even bother with this but I do like her a lot. I’m trying to still keep it an option but not get too deep to where if it doesn’t work out I start simping hard u know. But we talk everyday and it’s hard u feel

Thanks bro I really appreciate the advice. It’s funny you say that cause that’s what I’ve kinda been thinking to get over this and I’ve done a really good job the last while just doing my own thing

I’ve just come to a point where I have no interest in the back and forth right now so I’m done. And the fact that I never replied to her is telling to me

As for you I hope that maybe in the long run it does work out but if not someone will come along and blow that person right out of the water

Honestly my advice play it cool and just hang out and s*** but when she broaches the subject of dating or whatever just tell her that you’re not ready until she’s fully into it. IMO when you first start seeing someone else I always just kind of assume there’s someone else or others until you’ve had an actual talk about being with each other

And it fails, just draw her and date that version

That’s what I’m trying to do rn, makes the most sense. We’ve had talks abt dating and s*** already and she told me abt the other dude but she said she would completely end it like 2 days later and I know that didn’t happen. She says the conversation didn’t go “as anticipated” lol
