guess that can be a perk if you're not tied down with family or w/e yet
remember like a year ago the FT published this string of articles maligning how cozy auditing firms, specifically the big 4, had gotten with their client companies. definitely made it appear from an outside perspective that there might be serious conflicts of interest but it'd be interesting to get ur take, or if those articles even made a wave within the companies lol
Tbh I’m not important enough to know what really happens.
So basically we have an audit chain so people below me send me their reports which I review and then I add my 2 cents on what I think and send it up the chain.
After that I don’t know what happens
And for projects that I do there’s around 80+ engineers working on about 1000 strings (issues) so there’s a lot that gets reported.
What we all suspect is that the company hired PWC semi-permanently cause it looks better for PR to say PWC is doing our QA and pwc just earn consulting fees permanently.
