No matter what Cuban/Mavs tell you, this all starts from that initial conversation. They would not be stopping the anthem if not for the political climate
Also, when I refer to black owned I mean that the PLAYERS drive league decisions. Whereas in the NFL, for example, they are mainly faceless players and the TEAM is the focus.
That is why there is less reflexive decision making in the NFL compared to the NBA
